oyasumi punpun >>

the story portrays Punpun’s childhood to adulthood. I find his childhood is sort of normal but when his puberty starts, everything goes abnormal and crazy, I know his mental isn’t as stable as other students, due to his dysfunctional family. his mother doesn’t take responsibility to look after punpun, even his father leaves them and goes to another city to live. he only has his uncle to take care and teach him something instead of his broken family. but I can feel punpun, if I were him, I would hate his mother and original family definitely. that’s why when his mother passed away, he even didn’t cry and feel sad. back to his uncle, think him is kind of only a rational person there, aside his flashback, he’s the person whom nearly our reality. jump to one most point is ~ Aiko. assume she’s a dumbass. she’s willing to do everything for punpun, but punpun doesn’t cherish it as much as he can. y’all know the outcome of Aiko. . . it’s ridiculous and shameful. I know Aiko is from separated family, hers mother is like a monster and creep. she even wants to kill Aiko. . . anyhow, Oyasumi punpun is a famous work in the whole world, meanwhile, it’s sort of shocked and impactful as well. punpun might resemble us and we might resemble him in some ways, it reflects who grows up in twisted world. seems no one can save them, only that piece of worthless love. nevertheless, u can’t deny Asano sensei is a talent for sure. life goes on, may you never forget me?

one early period work from Asano sensei, if u think Punpun is abnormal, I can honestly tell u it’s beyond creepy 😂. I accept this kind of genre, a storyline which is full of sex. when I read it, it reminded me of those movies are related to “friends with benefits” and “no strings attached”. but one thing I can’t accept is~ Koume and Keisuke are way too young, I strongly suggest it at least happened in university or over 18+, it could be more acceptable and makes sense.
