unexpected this work is based on true story, the synopsis is surrounding cosplay and anime culture. Wakana is opposite personality to Marine; Marine is popular lady in school and she’s loving cosplay. one day she found Gojo-kun is excellent at sewing and hand making clothes. so they are paired up with doing everything about cosplay. I heard the original story wasn’t like it. one side required another had to choose hobby or relationship between them. what’s wrong with meaning choosing hobby or relationship? that’s totally unhealthy and dysfunctional romance. so Fukuda sensei decides to make this story to be hilarious and peaceful and each other can accept what they love. even if animanga isn’t a main stream in our society, u can notice no one look down it in dress-up darling. I welled up and much appreciated for itself. 
one funny thing is~ there’s a lot spicy scenes out there but the entire story is without sex and porn. it’s completely romcom exactly. what I love the most is everyone loves and chases whatever they aspire to be. (; ps, the anime is awarded to the top anime in 2022! cheers!!
