- IN ♥ manga and anime ♥
I must remember those moments of him clearly and those memories always stuck in my head as well. u know, if u say u have crush on duality, people who aren’t interested in anime will treat u like weirdo and won’t understand u. but if u know, u know. (;
I’m in struggling sometimes and it’s common situation happened in real life for sure, but when I feel down, I always think about Oikawa. it makes me feel better and I really am grateful for him and his company. anyhow~ let’s recall some magnificent periods of him.
u must know his debut is really different between in manga and anime. but I actually prefer to manga more. his bashful expression and looks like lil shy boy omg!!! but after plots come, who knows? he’s naughty and strong and with a lot of complicated moods. I can’t get him out of my head of all time. then switches to his flashback - I really love this story itself, aside those strong players there in Haikyuu, Oikawa was in pain at times and underwent ups and downs in his early years. I can totally feel him, because in my life, everyone seems like Ushijima. then to the second match with Karasuno, I think it’s the game I hate the most! I can’t believe Seijoh loses and I no longer want to see Oikawa in upset condition again. I yelled too. but there’s the most important and could be the whole point scene which is when Oikawa tosses the longest distance ball to Iwa-chan and then he received but they still . . .
“Talent is something you make bloom, instinct is something you polish “ but it made this motto to be born. I welled up for this montage multiple times and the rest of story happened in exclusive movie version I always sobbed to watch. Iwa was the best friend we couldn’t ask for. especially when he told Oikawa was the best setter in his mind. omg, I cried and it was pretty emotional stuff among them all! next was Oikawa wore glasses in S3. that was totally boyfriend material for real! his outfit I melted, it was damn handsome.
following, Oikawa happened in S4 only short moment but that was critical indeed. he finally confirmed Kageyama has improved a lot and he definitely didn’t want to lose to him again, so he determined to train and train and became stronger. that time was shocked certainly but that was the best proof of Oikawa adjusting his mindset and Kageyama was the king as well.
after the Brazil game was one of my fav arc with no doubt. we saw who enlightened him at his childhood and when he got his chest out to Hinata, it was not easy to him I believe so but he did. we saw his paths and how he coma a long way and finally he made his dreams come true. also he made a vow to beat everyone up. I’m damn looking forward to seeing it!
last one we all know is - Oikawa belongs to team Argentina and how he confidently stands in front of everyone and this is the tournament I want to see the most. also we know Iwa-chan is being coach of team Japan.
I spat a lot out and it brought me into the entire Oikawa and Haikyuu memories catalogue over and over again, I got goosebumps of all time while I wrote it.
I know it’s like a thesis. thanks for your time and patience wholeheartedly!
